Provisional Summary Translation
- IN THE NAME OF GOD
- O wanderers on the path of God,
- Although the trials in Nayriz were extremely harsh
- And your suffering poured like rain into the cup of sorrow
- Although the Cup-Bearer had brought you poison
- Which you drank in the path for love of the Beloved
- For lovers, the bitterness of unexpected
- suffering was delicious.
- Wandering on the path way of love,
- You will reach the home of the Beloved.
- You offered up your life and material possessions.
- You considered it a blessing
- When your homes were looted and plundered.
- A thousand praises for those precious souls who found
- In place of sacrifice the sweet cup of sorrow,
- Who made the ultimate sacrifice
- And without hesitation offered their life
- Flying to the immortal realm.
- In the world of sacrifice, this is naught but the blessings
- And bounties which He reserves for whomsoever He willeth
- And that is due to His bounty
- Being poured upon whomsoever He willeth.
- Therefore, O ye beloved, in this holy year,
- You have won the arena of the love of God,
- You have superseded all in the love of God
- And have advanced all others in finding meaning
- from your life.
- God willing, may we also have a portion!
