Provisional Translation
- All things are ephemeral except The Creator of all things, who is immortal and eternal.
- The good character and qualities of Mullah Mohammad Shafí include the following:
- A perfect gem; A shining star of generosity and loftiness; Fidelity and Truthfulness;
- A shining moon in the sky of knowledge and wisdom; An ark in the ocean of insight;
- A skillful poet; He possessed a lofty disposition; He was noble and respectful.
- In separation from him the eye of the friends shed tears like unto a spring cloud and
for his suffering and ordeal the hearts of his loved ones burned with sorrow and grief.
